Notes: Checklist incomplete. Blank-backed. I got these cards from Canada, so that's probably where they were issued. These cards have borders like one of the styles for the E123 American Caramel set. The E123 set used several different border styles, while this set only uses one of those styles for all the cards in the set. The pictures and stars are different from E123 and the cards from this set are slightly smaller than E123 cards.
An interesting card in this set was card #54 Bess Dean. That card has the name of Florence Billings (who is on card #53, the previous card) beneath Bess Dean's name. It was a sloppy design job, and there are other examples of sloppiness in the design of the cards in this set.
My personal opinion about this set is that the makers probably stole the border design from the E123 set and threw this set together quickly and cheaply. Since they were in Canada and they didn't put their company name on the cards, they probably figured they would avoid getting into trouble for stealing the design. The Bess Dean card is a good example of this, in that a mistake was made in the design of this card and they didn't take the time to correct it properly, but instead just did a quick fix.
