Notes: No company name found anywhere on cards. These cards were issued by the British-American Tobacco Company (BAT).

There were multiple BAT Modern Beauties 1st Series sets, issued in different sizes with different subjects. This is what is considered the small size.

This set was issued in three different ways:

• Black and white, anonymous cards with printing on back
• Brown tone, blank backed, unnumbered (slightly smaller sized cards)
• Westminster issue
