Information below received from Bob Forbes The series was issued shortly after the 1898 Spanish-American War by the Hilson Co., N.Y. The cards are found in two sizes. The larger size advertises Hoffman House Magnums on the back while the smaller size advertises Hoffman House Little Cigars. The main titles are found on the back along with numbering in Roman numerals. The captions on the fronts are various naval flag signals.
