Notes: Though this set was produced by British company Godfrey Phillips, it appears it was distributed as an export issue to foreign countries.
Abdulla also issued a Cinema Stars set that looks identical to this set, except that it contains different numbering and has an Abdulla ad on the back instead of a Godfrey Phillips ad.
Date info: Based on the text on the backs, this set was most likely issued in 1927. From a sampling of the movies mentioned on the backs, they are usually 1925 and 1926 films, with the latest ones issued in 1927. The Rod La Rocque card mentions that he is married to Vilma Banky, and that marriage took place on June 26, 1927. The Claire Windsor card mentions that she is married to Bert Lytell, and that marriage ended in divorce on August 9, 1927.
