Notes: These cards were sold in packets of 15 cards of a particular movie star for one lira at newsstands in Italy in the 1930s. They were published by Cinema Illustrazione magazine. The packet lists the address of Cinema Illustrazione as Rizzoli E C. - Milano - Piazza C. Erba, 6.
There are nine packets, each containing 15 cards of a particular star that is identified on the packet. A list of the stars on the nine packets is printed on the back of the packet itself, along with a series number for each packet. The checklist below shows the stars in the 9 packets. There are 15 cards in each packet.
More series exist after the first 9 packets. These series comprise 15 cards of the same star and sets of American, French and German stars. The American, French, and German star sets are probably comprised of 15 different stars from the country referred to on the cards.
