Notes: Checklist Incomplete. A series of 10 cards produced to promote the 1993 film Oliver Twist, starring Dickie Moore in the title role. The back states that if you collected all 10 cards it would entitle you to complimentary performance of the film. Cards are numbered on the front (which is unusual for the theatre cards) and show the actors in their character's costume. Scarce cards rarely seen.
Although only two cards have been studied, other cards are likely to include Dickie Moore as Oliver Twist, William Boyd as Bill Sykes, Doris Lloyd as Nancy and Alec B. Francis as Mr. Brownlow.
Date info: The film "Oliver Twist" was released in 1933, thus dating the card set to 1933.
