Notes: The film star sets from Eucalol were titled either "Artistas de Cinema" (Film Artists) or "Celebridades De Tela" (Screen Celebrities). The film star sets were Serie 35 through Serie 45 and Serie 58 through Serie 63. The other series issued by Eucalol show non-movie star subjects.
Starting in 1930, Eucalol issued trading cards for many different subjects, continuing to issue card sets through 1957. The sets usually contained 6 cards, though sometimes went higher. The owner of Eucalol was originally from Germany, and he remembered the successful Liebig sets from Europe, and he patterned the Eucalol sets after those. The film star and Olympics subjects were the only sets in black and white, the other card sets were all in color. The film star sets were issued in the 1930s.
Eucalol produced albums that could be used to hold the Eucalol cards. There was an offer to buy the albums printed inside the boxes of Eucalol products. These albums had generic pages so that cards from any series of Eucalol cards could be inserted into the albums.
Serie 58 through Serie 63 can be found in either format of "Artistas de Cinema" or "Celebridades De Tela", with the stars being the same for either format.
