Notes: Checklist incomplete. Graindor released at least two sets of film star cards. One set shows film stars with the name of the star in a box at the bottom of the card front. The other set shows untitled film scenes from western movies. Stars such as Charlton Heston from the film "The Savage," and Ricardo Montalban from the film "Across the Wide Missouri" can be seen on these cards.
The Albatros Film Stars set (listed under Biscuit cards), Graindor Film Stars, and Tarzan Film Stars (B&W) all used the same pictures for their cards. The checklists are probably different for each of these sets, as not all cards were necessarily used for each set. When more cards are reported, a better picture of this will emerge.
Date info: The film "Across the Wide Missouri" was released in 1951. The Maria Elena Marques card in the Film Stars set shows her in costume for that film and the untitled cards show a card of Ricardo Montalban from that film. There is at least one card in the untitled group showing Charlton Heston from the 1952 film "The Savage." I am placing a 1952 date on this set, though it could have been issued a bit later.
