Notes: Checklist Incomplete (all fronts identified, but back checklist is incomplete). Playing card style. It looks like these cards can be found with the same fronts with three different backs. One version shows the back mostly in blue, but with a white circle in the middle showing an ad for Juncosa with a steaming pot in the middle. A second version shows a drawing of a different film star on the back of every card. A third version shows a drawing of a boxer on the back instead of a film star. The fronts show colorful drawings that often show identified movie stars, but sometimes just show movie star-less designs.
For the fronts, they follow a pattern, for each playing card suit, cards 1, 10, and 12 show a comedy star, while card 11 shows a western star. Cards 2-9 do not show movie stars within the designs. For the Sunflower suit, each of the fronts from 2-12 show additional movie stars within the sunflowers on the cards. For 2-9, there is a movie star for each sunflower. As an example, card 6 shows 6 movie stars within 6 sunflowers. Sunflower cards 10-12 just show one additional movie star within one sunflower.
The cards below show the front movie star followed by the back movie star or boxer for those versions that show movie stars or boxers on the backs.
