Notes: Checklist incomplete. Blank-backed. These cards were designed to be cut from packages of Quaker cereal. The cards show a profile of a famous face and ask you to guess who it is. Some of these are film stars, while other cards show other famous people. Sellers of these cards have indicated a date of 1961.
When issued, Quaker put one card from six different card sets on the backs of its Quaker Corn Flakes and Quaker Puffed Wheats cereal boxes. So, if you bought a box of cereal, you would get 6 cards, each numbered the same, from six different sets. If you bought the right 36 boxes, you would get complete sets of all six sets. The other sets issued with the Phiz-Quiz set included British Landmarks, The Story of Fashion, Railways of the World, Great Moments of Sport, and Household Hints.
