Notes: Checklist incomplete. There are two different groups of these that show the same images on the fronts.
One group of these cards is unnumbered and simply has an ad for Santander chocolates on the back. The front text is in brown and many of the names show only the first initial and sometimes no first name. There are 80 cards in this set and there was a folder issued with these cards.
The other group of these cards has front text in blue with full first names shown. The backs are also in blue and show a Serie and a number for each card. There is an ad for LEAL in the middle of the backs with SANTANDER at the bottom. Each Serie contains 15 cards.
These cards were issued with multiple advertisers, including the following:
The Virgen Reyes group has different numbering than the other advertisers. The Santander cards were issued with the standard numbering and also in slightly different format without the numbering.
A Sociedad e Ciegoas La Hispalense Serie Z card has been seen with perforation marks at the top and bottom. It also contains a stamped date of May 1934 on the back, so 1934 appears to be the year of issue of this series. The perforated Sociedad e Ciegoas La Hispalense card appears to be a ticket for entrance to a museum.
