Notes: Unnumbered. No manufacturer identification on these cards, they look kind of like playing cards. Cards are broken down into 4-card subsets mostly by country.

According to a Canadian dealer who had a few unopened packs of these cards, they were issued by Maple Leaf Gum. Here are some pictures of an original wrapper that was used for these cards. These cards were probably also issued in some European countries.

While these cards are usually found with rounded corners, I have seen some square-cornered versions of these cards.

Date Info: Based on the stars in this set and their careers, I am guessing this set was issued in about 1958.
