Notes: Checklist incomplete. This set appears very similar to the E124 American Caramel set, but was issued in the late 1920s with different card subjects. This set has the exact same back text as one of the versions of E124 back, though placement of the text is somewhat lower on this card back than on the E124s. The fronts are also very similar to E124 except these cards have front text in a slightly smaller size than the E124s, and these cards also contain a wider front border than the E124s. This may be the same set as the Anon-Wide Border Film Stars set, but not enough cards have been seen from either set to verify whether this is the same set or not.
Date info: The cards I've seen so far from this set all show scenes from films released in 1927. If this is the same set as the Anon-Wide Border Film Stars, those cards showed scenes from films released from 1927 to 1929, so that set had to be issued in 1929 or later.
It is possible that the cards listed in this checklist come from more than one set. Card 76 and 78 below come from the same set, but card 85 below may be from a different set. Cards 76 and 78 have the exact same dimensions for the rectangle that surrounds the picture on the card, while card 85 has a smaller rectangle that surrounds the picture. For sets that are difficult to identify, the size of this inner rectangle is often standard for a set and is an indicator of whether a card fits into the set or is part of another set.
