Notes: Unnumbered. Blank-backed. Thick cardboard. There is no indication about who issued these on the cards themselves. Collector Jim Abdella reports that this set was issued by General Gum in 1933 and that there are 24 cards in the set.
Collector Jack Janzen reports that there were three versions of these cards. The likely first version contained the words "Movie Gum" in a bold banner beneath the picture on the front. This version is extremely rare and was probably not used for long at all. The likely next version does not contain the "Movie Gum "banner and has very large borders above and below the picture. This is the version of these cards that is seen most often. The third version has the picture area enlarged so that the top and bottom borders are much smaller, about the same size as the left and right border.
