There are two different 1939 wrappers from Gumakers of America for movie star cards, and it is likely that they were both used for this set.
Date info: The Jane Withers card includes a caption for the 1939 film "Boy Friend," and the Robert Taylor card contains a caption for the 1939 film "Lucky Night," so I am placing a date of 1939 on this set for now. The wrapper also contains a 1939 date, confirming the 1939 date.
