Note: These large cards were sold to customers at the time they bought Lux soap. The cards were meant to be put in a display with the soap and a customer would pull out a card from the display and get it free along with the soap purchase.
There is no mention of Lux on the cards themselves, though the packets that the cards originally came in contain the Lux name. The set title comes from the title listed on the packets.
The backs are mostly blank, though there is a small box at the top left that discusses the card set and has a brief mention of the star pictured on the card and their latest movie. There have been variations seen for some of the movies mentioned on the backs, though the fronts usually remain the same. Norma Shearer has been seen with two different pictures.
