Notes: Checklist probably incomplete. Unnumbered. Blank backed. These are large cards, slightly bigger than 8" x 10", that were given out in issues of Screen Play Secrets magazine in 1930. From a brief search for information about Screen Play Secrets magazine, it appears to be a short-lived magazine. Some of the cards contain issue dates from 1930, so these were probably started in 1930. The May 1930 issue is the earliest issue that is confirmed to contain a card. The January 1931 issue has a note on the cover that a card of Anita Page was included in the issue, though I haven't seen that card yet, and that is the latest issue that is confirmed to contain a card.
The magazine covers for October 1930, December 1930, and January 1931 mention the card giveways. The magazine cover for May 1930 does not mention the cards, though a card was included. The magazine cover for May 1931 does not mention the cards. Since the cards were prominently mentioned on the covers from October 1930 through at least January 1931, it is likely that the card giveaways ended sometime before May 1931. It is likely that cards were in every issue from May 1930 through January 1931 at least, so that would mean that there are at least 9 cards in this set, though only 7 are listed below so far.
