Notes: Checklist incomplete. Blank-backed. Unnumbered on the cards themselves, though the checklist on the packet contains numbers for the cards. One original packet seen, indicating Set number 5, with 10 cards inside. This would indicate that there are at least four other packets with 40 other cards in this set, maybe more.
These cards look very much like Kromo Gravure cards. The William Russell card is identical to his Kromo Gravure card. If these were issued in 1915, it is likely that the Threatrical Advertising Co of Detroit Michigan soon transformed into the Kromo Gravure company of Detroit Michigan, since Kromo Gravure began issuing their movie star cards in the 1917 timeframe.
Date info: These were sold on ebay with the seller indicating a date of 1915, though I don't see that on the packet. Maybe the date is on the other side of the packet.
