Notes: Checklist incomplete. This set shows four movie stars, boxers or baseball players on each card. Multiple color combinations can be found for each card. Cards from this set were also issued separately as strip cards. Full sized Exhibit cards were also made for many of the pictures used in this set.
Date info: The dates for the baseball players all work for any year from 1924 to 1926. 1924 was the rookie year for Al Simmons, and was the year of the first movie for June Marlowe. Metro studio last used that name in 1924 before becoming MGM. Based on all this, I think the most likely date for this set is 1925, though it is possible it could have been issued a year in either direction.
