Notes: An album was issued for the series titled "Aus der Filmwelt" (From the World of Film), with 12 blank pages (24 sides) for the insertion of 2 large cards per side, for a total of 48 cards. However, only 28 actresses were listed in the index, and up to now only 23 cards have been seen. Each actress is shown with the famous Schwarzkopf head silhouette in the background.
The cards were issued in a highly unusual way, as a bag that contained "Schwarzkopf Schaumpon", a kind of dry shampoo. The bag could either be slotted into the album as a completely intact packet, or the front part of the bag cut out, and the back part sent off for either an album or an "Achtecksilber Schmuckdose" - a silver octagonal decorative box, useful for storing packets of Schwarzkopf dry shampoo. Most must have gone for the silver box because albums are very rare. Probably issued in 1931 and 1932 – on one bag there's mention of a price increase starting from the 1st January 1932, on another it says that bags can be sent in for the album/silver box until December 1932.
The checklist shows the 23 cards that definitely exist. At the end are the 5 names on the index list which have yet to be seen. Cards are unnumbered, so the list is in alphabetical order.
