Notes: Along with other film stars such as Ossi Oswalda (Lypstadt), Lucy Doraine (Zuban), Elsa Kruger (Jasmatzi) and Asta Nielsen (also Wenesti), Emil Jannings had a brand of cigarette named after him. Up to now, two series have been recorded, consisting of 25 cards in each series. Backs have a general blurb about Emil Jannings, the tobacco used in the cigarettes (finest quality from the Orient) and an acknowledgement to UFA for allowing them to show scenes from the various movies. The films came out in 1924 and 1925, so 1925 has been used as the year of issue.
