Notes: Issued with Hoyo de Monterrey tobacco products, produced by Jose Gener. This setcontains runs of cards that all show scenes from the same film. For example, cards 1-26 allshow scenes from the film "A Que Cambiar de Esposa?," starring Gloria Swanson, Bebe Daniels and Thomas Meighan. The English title for this film is "Why Change Your Wife?," and it was released in the USA in 1920. The cards are numbered from 1-26, but do not have individial card titles on them. Cards 121-144 all show scenes from the film "Macho Y Hembra" starringGloria Swanson and Thomas Meighan. Cards 145-171 show scenes from the film "Sangre Y Arena"starring Rudolph Valentino.

Date info: A Que Cambiar de Esposa? was released in the USA in 1920. It was probably released to the Spanish market sometime after that, so I am estimating a date of 1922 for this set, though it could have been issued a couple of years in either direction from that date.
